Our Structured Artificial Intelligence Lab. develop new AI technologies centered on deep learning, grounded in mathematical theories such as analytical mechanics and differential geometry. We cover a broad range of fields, from theoretical analysis to real-world applications, such as data-driven physics simulators, and generative AI faithful to given prompts. For more details, please refer to our project page.
Hokkaido University provides various forms of financial support for doctoral students, including the Next-Generation AI Doctoral Fellowship, which offers an annual stipend of 3.6 million yen. We can also hire doctoral students as research assistants as part of Moonshot, CREST, and ASPIRE projects.
